Advantages of partnering with AzEkol:
Raw material specifications
Stones, wood, rubber, plastics of unknown origin are CATEGORICALLY prohibited in the bales
Used PET Bottles
The “AzEkol” plant recycles the following secondary raw materials: colorless and colored PET bottles.
“AzEkol” purchases and processes PP/PE caps and lids.
For “AzEkol” to process raw materials into a final product, suppliers must adhere to a few rules.
AzEkol Quality Standards and Percentage Composition of Supplied Material:
- Bottles with sleeves ≤ 3%
- Chemical bottles ≤ 1%
- Bottles with aluminum caps ≤ 0.5%
- Metal cans ≤ 0.5%
- Separation of bottles by color:
- In bales of transparent PET bottles = 90% transparent and 10% colored bottles
Used PET bottles are compressed into bales along with caps and labels.
The bales must not contain PVC or impurities from other waste, such as hazardous waste (medical, toxic, or chemical containers), PET bottles with metal caps and rings, or sleeved PET bottles (e.g., yogurt bottles).
Impurities from other materials should not exceed ≤ 5%.
PET Baltija conducts quality control for each shipment. For regular clients, one bale is checked manually at random; for new suppliers, 2-3 bales are inspected. The contents of each bale are sorted, and the percentage composition is determined as follows:
- Transparent PET bottles %
- Mixed PET bottles %
- Sleeved PET bottles
- HDPE bottles %
- Films %
- Aluminum cans %
- PET bottles with aluminum caps %
- Household chemical containers %
- Other unknown plastics, rubber, stones, and waste %
If the material does not meet the previously agreed-upon contract terms, the contract conditions are reviewed.
