An ecological campaign devoted to 100 years of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic was held

Eco-campaign was held dedicated to the centennial of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic by the joint organization of the resident of the Balakhani eco-Industrial Park “AzEkol” LLC and “Enactus Azerbaijan”

İn the campaign 28 people participated from the “Enactus UNEC” and the “Boarding School graduates’ social integration” Youth Public Union.

During the campaign 300 kilogram plastic, polyethylene was collected and given for the recycling process, from the forest which is located in Sulu-Tepe. By this, the step for the balancing ecological situation was taken and young people understood the importance of the paying attention to the ecological issues.

The campaign is long-term, it is planned to be re-organized in the coming days. Detailed information was given to the participants of the eco-campaign about the protection of environment and the biodiversity, the immunity of the natural landscape, the waste management and etc.

It is important to note that, “AzEkol” LLC is the biggest company in Azerbaijan, specialized in the recycling of the PET(Polyethylene Terephthalate).
